Fatimah has experience in high pressure gas pipeline projects focussing on entry and exit connections onto the LTS and NTS networks. She has worked through full project life cycles, from initial client project proposals, feasibility studies, environmental statements, detailed design, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning, both for injection into the gas grid as well as for offtake connections. She has project engineered design and installation works for the first NTS offtake project in the UK and for the first NTS biomethane injection project in the UK. Fatimah has managed the appraisal and approval of designs in accordance with the GL5, G17 and G35 design assurance processes for private assets and assets adopted by existing gas networks. Fatimah also works on pipeline Safety Cases and Major Accident Prevention Documents, detailing all design, installation, operation and maintenance requirements of high-pressure pipelines, as well as emergency procedures, to ensure compliance to PSR and GSMR.
